Palm Coast is split down the middle by I-95, with 3 exits inside the city: Exit 293 at Matanzas Woods Parkway, which opened in March 2016, Exit 289 at Palm Coast Parkway and Exit 284 at SR 100. On that stretch, FDOT’s 2025 inventory counts about 17,776 trucks a day, 20.2% of roughly 88,000 vehicles. US 1 parallels the interstate as a 4-lane divided highway for 18 miles through the city, and SR 100 carries heavy truck traffic toward Bunnell. RDI Power has no shop, office or staff in Palm Coast. Technicians come out from our Brooksville shop with diagnostic software and repair equipment, and the phone call sorts out whether the truck can be fixed where it stopped.
Exits 293, 289 and 284 on I-95 in Palm Coast
With 3 interchanges in the city, the quickest way to describe a breakdown is to name the 2 exits you are between and your direction of travel. A mile marker narrows it further. Get the truck as far onto the shoulder as it will go, set your triangles and stand away from traffic while you call. Trucks make up 1 in 5 of the vehicles passing you, all at highway speed.
If a warning light comes on while the truck still drives normally and nothing on the dash is red, an exit and a lot are better places to stop than the shoulder.
Truck parking and scales around Palm Coast
FDOT lists 2 weigh-in-motion truck comfort stations with truck parking near Palm Coast: one on northbound I-95 about 2.5 miles north of SR 100, and one on southbound I-95 about 3.3 miles south of Palm Coast Parkway. There is also a static truck scale on southbound US 1, listed under the Bunnell name. If your truck can safely reach a place with proper truck parking, it is a better place to wait than the shoulder, and it gives the technician a fixed location to find. Tell us where you ended up, and whether the truck is parked where a service truck can pull alongside it.
SR 100 and the Flagler Executive Airport side of Palm Coast
SR 100 is the area’s busiest truck road by share. Between Commerce Parkway and Belle Terre Boulevard, FDOT counts about 5,481 trucks a day, 31.5% of all traffic. Flagler Executive Airport sits on SR 100 at 201 Airport Road, a mile from I-95, with about 130 acres of pad-ready land and more than 175,000 general aviation takeoffs and landings a year. For a breakdown on SR 100, give us your direction and the nearest of those landmarks or cross streets. US 1 carries another 2,591 trucks a day.
Landscaping crews, construction and on-site repairs in Palm Coast
Landscaping services ranked among Flagler County’s top employers in 2025, Flagler County’s population grew an estimated 21.7% between 2020 and 2025, and a DC BLOX data center was announced in July 2025 for a 34-acre site in Palm Coast Town Center. Diesel pickups pulling trailers, dump trucks and service bodies are part of that picture.
A mobile visit begins with a diagnosis. On a Power Stroke the technician uses Ford IDS, on a Ram it is WiTECH, and heavy-duty software covers the bigger trucks. With the fault confirmed, much of the work is finished on the spot: dead batteries and failed starters or alternators, a clogged fuel filter and the air purged after replacing it, a sensor or a chafed harness behind a derate, a split coolant hose or a broken belt, air leaks on air-brake trucks, and trailer light and wiring faults. Glow plug circuits on Power Stroke and Duramax engines get checked when a hard start points that way. Each Palm Coast visit is recorded on a digital inspection with photos and notes.
Palm Coast trucks that finish in our bays
Internal engine repairs, transmission rebuilds and work that needs a lift go to the Brooksville bays. When that is the diagnosis, we plan with you how the truck gets there and when, and what the downtime means for your crews. The technician’s findings travel with it. Shop labor is warrantied for 3 years or 36,000 miles, and fleet repairs carry the RDI Fleet warranty of 2 years or 24,000 miles.
First call from Palm Coast
RDI Fleet accounts are covered by 24/7 roadside assistance. Other owners can reach the shop at (352) 433-3800 from Monday to Friday during business hours, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Palm Coast is near the outer edge of our mobile range, and we will be straight with you about how long it will take to get a technician there.
To plan maintenance instead, see Palm Coast fleet maintenance. Trucks stopped inland along SR 100 or US 1 are covered on our Bunnell mobile diesel repair page, and the whole program is described under mobile diesel repair.
