Citrus County sits directly north of our home county, and US-41 and US-19 make it an easy run from Brooksville. Floral City is about 15 road miles up US-41; Inverness, the county seat, is about 24. On the Gulf side, Sugarmill Woods and Homosassa are reached by US-19 and the Suncoast Parkway, which now extends north toward SR-44 and CR-486.
Where the diesel work is
- Lecanto, the county’s working hub. The county fleet shop on Lecanto Highway maintains hundreds of county vehicles and pieces of equipment, the school district’s Lecanto bus compound is nearby, and the county landfill sits on SR-44. Contractors and haulers working those sites keep heavy trucks moving through Lecanto every day.
- Inverness and the business park. As the county seat, Inverness has the school district offices and the sheriff’s headquarters, and a new phase of the airport business park is under construction for manufacturing and logistics tenants.
- The Suncoast Parkway extension. Highway construction along the Parkway’s northern phases puts aggregate trucks, lowboys and service trucks on Citrus County roads.
- The river and the Gulf. Homosassa is a working commercial fishing port with RV resorts and campgrounds along the river, and Chassahowitzka and Ozello are boat-ramp country. That means diesel pushers, tow vehicles and marine trailers.
RV owners on the Nature Coast
A lot of our Citrus County customers are diesel pusher owners. We handle engine, transmission, chassis, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling and alignment on diesel RVs, and our mobile technicians can diagnose many problems at the campground before anything has to move.
Shop or on-site
Floral City, Inverness and Sugarmill Woods customers often drive in; the trip is 25 to 40 minutes. For fleets and anything that should not be driven, our mobile technicians come to you with dealer-level diagnostics, and RDI Fleet accounts get 24/7 roadside assistance.
