Meadow Oaks is the inland side of Hudson. Its addresses use ZIP 34669, not the coastal 34667, and the community sits on a stretch of SR 52 that was widened to 6 lanes in 2007 between Moon Lake Road and the Suncoast Parkway. RDI Power’s only shop is about 25 road miles away in Brooksville, roughly 35 minutes by SR 52 and the Parkway, and mobile technicians handle the trucks that should not make that drive. Here is what diesel repair from Meadow Oaks looks like.
Meadow Oaks: a golf community on SR 52’s 6-lane stretch
Wikipedia describes Meadow Oaks as an inland Pasco community of about 1.66 square miles, and the 2020 Census counted 2,842 residents. A local Hudson guide described it as a golf community closer to the Suncoast Parkway than to US 19, one that grew after the Parkway opened. The Meadow Oaks Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole course at 13125 Fairwinds Road, anchors the place and hosts business outings and more than a dozen open leagues. Sugar Creek Boulevard leads north from SR 52 into the community, and across the highway to the south sit Pine Ridge at Sugar Creek, with about 260 homes, and Verandah.
From Sugar Creek Boulevard to Exit 27 and north
The trip to our shop is mostly highway. A few miles of SR 52 east bring you to Suncoast Parkway Exit 27, the Parkway carries you north to Exit 46 at SR-50, and Cortez Boulevard (SR-50) runs east into Brooksville. From central Meadow Oaks that is about 25 road miles and around 36 minutes in normal traffic, with tolls on the Parkway leg.
A truck that drives normally can make that run. A truck that is overheating, derating, losing oil pressure or flashing its check engine light should stay parked until we have talked; a mobile technician can often diagnose it where it sits and save a tow.
For a truck stuck at a Meadow Oaks yard, job site or roadside spot, the technician brings the same dealer-level software used in the shop, along with the tools to handle batteries, starters, sensors, air leaks and fuel delivery faults on the spot. When the problem turns out to be internal, the visit still pays off: the truck is towed to Brooksville with its diagnosis done, not as a question mark.
A school bus yard just west of Meadow Oaks
Meadow Oaks shares its ZIP with a school bus compound. Pasco County Schools runs its Northwest Bus Compound at 14500 Cobra Way, just west of the community in 34669, near Hudson High School, and the district maintains its own buses. Operators without a shop of their own, whether they run pickups, vans, box trucks, tractors or buses, can get scheduled maintenance through RDI Fleet, covered on our Meadow Oaks fleet maintenance page.
How RDI Power handles a Meadow Oaks diesel repair
- Diagnosis before parts. Dealer-level software, including Ford IDS and WiTECH, reads codes and live data, and the suspect system gets tested directly instead of guessed at from a code.
- Evidence you can see. A digital vehicle inspection with photos and technician notes reaches you before any work is approved.
- Repair at the root cause. Bosch diesel components and Alliant Power fuel injection parts go in where they fit, and Caterpillar engines are in the hands of a Caterpillar certified shop.
- A warranty you can hold us to. The labor on a Meadow Oaks repair is warrantied for 3 years or 36,000 miles.
The engines are the familiar list: Power Stroke 6.0, 6.4, 6.7 and 7.3, Duramax, Cummins, Detroit, Volvo and Caterpillar, in light, medium and heavy duty trucks, buses and diesel pushers. The fuel, cooling, emissions and electrical work behind those engines is described on our diesel service and repair page.
