Wesley Chapel is big, busy and about 36 road miles from our Brooksville shop. Mobile diesel repair is how we close that gap. A technician brings scan software, heavy duty diagnostic tools and repair equipment to the truck, finds the cause and repairs it there whenever the job allows, whether the truck is in a fleet yard, at a warehouse dock, on a job site or on the shoulder of I-75.
Wesley Chapel landmarks that get a technician to the right spot
Street addresses work, but in a community this size, landmarks are often faster. Some that place a truck quickly:
- Tampa Premium Outlets, on the south side of SR-56 just off I-75, with a Lutz address.
- AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, at 2600 Bruce B. Downs Boulevard just north of SR-56.
- Saddlebrook Resort, on the south side of SR-54.
- The Shops at Wiregrass, The Grove and Cypress Creek Town Center, the big retail centers.
- Pasco-Hernando State College’s Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch.
- North Tampa 75, the distribution park at 7500 Old Pasco Road.
- Overpass Road, now 4 lanes west of I-75 and 6 lanes east, plus Boyette Road and Old Pasco Road.
Add the road you are on, the direction you were heading, and whether the truck is in a safe spot. Wesley Chapel Boulevard was once called Old C.R. 54, so either name gets you there.
I-75 through Wesley Chapel: shoulders, ramps and the SR-56 diverging diamond
Wesley Chapel has 3 interstate exits: SR-54, Overpass Road (Exit 282) and SR-56. The SR-56 interchange is a diverging diamond, opened about a year before the Overpass Road interchange in January 2023, and traffic crosses to the left side of the road between its crossovers. A truck that stops there needs a precise description: on the ramp, on the bridge, or approaching on SR-56.
On the interstate itself, get the truck as far onto the shoulder as you safely can, turn on the flashers, set out triangles and stay away from the traffic side. Give the direction, the mile marker and the last exit passed. When the technician arrives, safety comes first; if the shoulder is too tight to work, we talk through moving the truck to a ramp, a lot or a yard nearby.
Lots, yards and job sites across Wesley Chapel
Most mobile work happens off the highway. A fleet yard, a truck court at a warehouse or a job site with firm ground gives the technician room to walk around the truck and park the service truck beside it. Common on-site repairs include:
- Batteries, cables, starters and alternators behind no-crank and no-charge calls
- Belts, coolant hoses and leaking clamps
- Air leaks, gladhands and brake chambers on air brake trucks
- Failed sensors and DEF faults behind a derate
- Fuel filters, water in the fuel and air in the lines after filter service
- Trailer lights and wiring
Every visit is documented with a digital inspection, photos and notes included, and on-site work carries the same warranty as bay work: 3 years or 36,000 miles on labor, or 2 years or 24,000 miles for RDI Fleet accounts.
When the Wesley Chapel call ends at the Brooksville shop
Some repairs need a bay: internal engine work, transmission removal and rebuilds, alignments and anything that needs a lift. When a Wesley Chapel call turns out to be one of those, the technician explains what failed and why, and we plan the trip north with you. The diagnosis travels with the truck, so the shop picks up where the mobile visit left off.
Fleet accounts can reach roadside assistance at any hour. The full program is on mobile diesel repair, heavy units have their own page at semi truck repair in Wesley Chapel, and trucks working the Lutz side of SR-56 are covered on mobile diesel repair in Lutz. Call (352) 433-3800 and start with the nearest landmark.
