Heritage Pines is a single gated homeowners association, but the road at its front gate is a county line. County Line Road (CR 578) puts Pasco on one side and Hernando on the other, and Spring Hill starts directly across from the community. A fleet based near there can easily work both counties in the same day. RDI Fleet, the fleet program run from our Brooksville shop, is built to keep those units on a plan wherever they go, whether they are pickups, vans, box trucks, tractors, trailers or buses.
Fleets working both sides of County Line Road at Heritage Pines
Addresses on the Pasco side read Hudson, FL 34667; across the road they read Spring Hill. Neither matters to the plan. Our shop at 1665 Donto Way sits about 19 road miles from the middle of Heritage Pines, reached by County Line Road, US-19 and SR-50, and our mobile technicians cover Hernando, Pasco and Citrus counties and beyond. Units that never come near Brooksville can still be maintained at the yard, and units that do need the bays can be routed there on a schedule instead of on a tow hook.
A maintenance calendar for units based near Heritage Pines
We start with a list: each unit’s year, make, engine, mileage or hours, and what it does all day. From that comes a calendar:
- Intervals set by duty, not habit. A van that idles at stops all day earns hour-based service; a pickup on long highway runs can follow mileage.
- Yard visits for the routine. Inspections, filters, fluids and many repairs happen where the trucks park, so drivers keep their trucks for the day’s work.
- One shop trip, several jobs. A unit that needs a lift also gets its PM, its open repairs and its annual DOT inspection while it is there.
- Priority when it breaks. Fleet accounts move up the line, and the shop opens at 7:00 AM on weekdays for early drop-offs.
Our fleet maintenance checklist article lays out what a thorough PM visit covers.
Planning around the County Line Road widening near Heritage Pines
Hernando and Pasco own County Line Road jointly, and under an interlocal agreement they plan to widen it from 2 lanes to 4 toward the Suncoast Parkway. The project is estimated at $65 million. It was in design as of June 2026, and the funding plan from the 2 counties and FDOT calls for right-of-way money by July 2028 and construction money by July 2030.
That gives fleets near Heritage Pines years of notice. When construction dates are set, the practical moves are simple: more maintenance done at the yard, shop runs timed for early mornings, and annual inspections pulled ahead of the heaviest work-zone months. We will build that into the calendar with you.
Inspection files and after-hours cover for Heritage Pines units
Every service, at the yard or in the shop, leaves behind a digital inspection with photos and the technician’s notes. Kept together, those reports become each truck’s history, which is what you need when deciding whether to rebuild an engine or retire a unit. Repairs on these accounts are covered by the 2-year / 24,000-mile RDI Fleet warranty, and after-hours breakdowns fall under the account’s 24/7 roadside assistance; the Heritage Pines mobile diesel repair page covers what an on-site visit looks like.
Operators near Heritage Pines can read how the whole program works on our RDI Fleet maintenance page. Fleets based elsewhere in Hudson can read our Hudson fleet maintenance page. Bring a unit list to the first call at (352) 433-3800 and we will build the plan from there.
