Most small towns are hard to describe over the phone. Masaryktown is the exception, because its founders named the streets on a system: U.S. presidents run north and south, and Slovak and Czech patriots and writers run east and west. Mobile diesel repair puts an RDI Power technician at your truck with dealer-level diagnostics and the tools to repair it on the spot when the job allows, and in Masaryktown, getting there starts with 2 street names. When the truck needs a bay, our shop is about 10 road miles and 16 minutes north.
Using Masaryktown’s street grid to guide a technician
A good location call takes 30 seconds. These reference points cover the town:
- The intersection. Name the 2 cross streets nearest the truck: a president’s street and a patriot’s or writer’s street.
- US-41 (Broad Street). The highway runs along the east side of town. The historic plaque where US-41 meets Wilson Boulevard and the former Masaryk Hotel at 398 Broad Street, which carries a state historical marker, are the clearest landmarks.
- County Line Road (CR-578). The southern edge, on the Hernando and Pasco line. Say which side of US-41 you are on.
- The Ayers Road Extension (CR-576). The bypass that leaves US-41 toward Spring Hill. Note whether you are on Ayers Road or at the US-41 junction.
Then tell us the truck’s make and engine, its load, and the last thing it did before quitting.
Roadside calls on US-41 and County Line Road near Masaryktown
US-41 through Masaryktown is set to become an FDOT work zone, with resurfacing from south of County Line Road to south of Powell Road scheduled from late 2026 to about summer 2027. A breakdown in a work zone needs extra care. Get the truck as far out of the travel lanes as you can, turn on the flashers, put out triangles if it is safe to do so, and stay away from the traffic side of the truck. If the truck is boxed in by barrels or barriers, tell us when you call so we can plan the safest way to reach it.
Units on an RDI Fleet account can reach roadside assistance at any hour from Masaryktown. Anyone else can call (352) 433-3800 on weekdays between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Masaryktown failures a service truck can handle
Once a scan has confirmed what failed, many repairs end where the truck stopped:
- Replacing a starter or a set of batteries on a truck that will not crank
- Swapping a failed alternator or a shredded serpentine belt
- Fixing a ruptured coolant hose before the engine overheats
- Sealing an air leak at a fitting, valve or brake chamber
- Changing clogged fuel filters and priming the system
- Repairing the sensor or the wire behind a derate, then clearing the code once the repair checks out
- Tracing dead trailer lights to a corroded plug or a broken ground
The visit is documented in a digital inspection with photos and notes, the same record a shop visit produces.
When the truck heads north to Brooksville
Engine teardowns, transmission work and anything that needs a lift are shop jobs. If the technician finds one of those, we plan the tow up US-41 with you, and the diagnosis goes with the truck. Pickups that end up in the shop are covered on Masaryktown truck repair.
For the full on-site program, see mobile diesel repair. Trucks stopped a little farther north on Broad Street are covered under mobile diesel repair in Garden Grove.
